Event bicycle hire is integral to the history of British Bike Hire; we aim to provide our customers with the easiest way to ride a bike at your event. This starts with our online booking service, where you choose your event and configure the bike exactly as you would like, we then transport the bike to the event for you, where you are fitted onto it by our trained mechanics; when you`re finished, we`re there to collect it.

Now working with multiple event partners such as Prudential RideLondon, Human Race, Castle Tri Series and Palace to Palace, it`s our goal to make riding a bike at event as easy as possible, for as many people as possible!

Our flexibility and willingness to adapt have led to us delivering corporate bike hire packages to some of the UK`s largest companies, for their cycle sportives, as well as other events such as triathlons, family days and charity challenges. In addition to hiring bikes we offer mechanics, support staff, bike racking, route planning, guides and a fully fledged retail operation, selling clothing and bicycle parts, in conjunction with our partners; all of this can result in a corporate day out laid ready for our clients.

For hoteliers and businesses, we offer a `bike hire business in a box` package that offers a 65% profit margin on average to your business. British Bike Hire will provide marketing and promotion materials, health and safety documents, advice on insurance, as well as staff training in basic fitting and mechanics and customer services. All of this means that your establishment can diversify and offer your customers access to one of the largest leisure and exercise activities in the UK, something that the competition aren`t. The leasing of bikes means that your business can produce seasonal offers, and with our periodical servicing, there is no need to maintain or sell on any bikes. All you need to have is customers, and somewhere to securely store the bikes and equipment.

Bikes through the post is one of our new schemes for 2016; in order to be able to get bicycles to customers around the UK, we have utilised couriers and developed our bicycle packaging system to be able to deliver a bike to anywhere in Mainland UK. This means that a customer can order a bike and have it delivered to their home or workplace, and then when they are done, we arrange for it to be collected; we aim for it to become the easiest way to ride a bike of your choice.

In order to keep our stock fresh, our ex-rental bikes are sold at our sister website – Nearly New Bikes, here you can find some of our old stock, as well as some nearly new options. Our hire bikes get meticulously maintained by trained mechanics, so are a great option if you`re unsure about purchasing from an online auction site or classifieds. We also lease bikes up to 24 months through our shortly to be launched leaseabike.co.uk. You may want to have your bike for a season, or even two, and so leasing a bike can be a great way to have a bike that is always fresh and up to date, and if you want to upgrade or trade in, that`s always an option too.

Bespoked is British Bike Hire`s restoration service, whilst relatively new, we`ve already undertaken some very exiting projects including a 1950`s Raleigh and a 1980`s Aende. From a simple clean and spruce up all the way to sourcing and refurbishing parts, as well as replica paint jobs, we can take a classic ride from un-rideable to the centerpiece of your stable.
